I have not seen the 55 gal mixer, but I have had great success with a 5 
gallon mixer.  I picked up two different types of mixer blades at the local 
hardware used for paint stiring.  I used a Dewalt drill with high speed. 
You can get the long and the short handle blades.  I will try to locate more 
info on a 55 gal mixer in the next few days.
